Pauline and Steve welcome you to The Station Guest House.
We became owners of the guest house in June 2021 and commenced a major refurbishment program, changing the décor, updating the lighting, new furniture throughout as well as replacing the upholstery and furnishings. We have all new beds, four Super-Kings that can be configured as Twins, two Kings and two Singles (one of which is a large single). Our rooms now have smart TVs and full Wi-Fi throughout the guest house. We’ve also installed a brand new kitchen and restructured the bar to make guests feel more at ease. With our new resin patio you can sit outside watching the steam trains go by.
Pauline has over twenty five years within hospitality from running her own pub through to Head Housekeeper at numerous prestigious hotels and our ethos is to ensure you feel welcome and relaxed in our home.
Whilst we are unable to accommodate your pets we do have some of our own who occasionally might join us in the bar or can be seen playing in the garden. If you are allergic or uncomfortable with large dogs and cats then please do let us know so that we can ensure you are not inconvenienced by them.
Regretfully we do not have facilities to cater for children under 6 years old
